Frequently Asked Questions
What size wiper blades does a BYD Atto 3 take?
The BYD Atto 3 (2022-2024) takes a 24 inch (600mm) blade on the driver side and a 17 inch (425mm) blade on the passenger side. The same front sizes apply to every model year in the table above.
Does the BYD Atto 3 have a rear wiper?
Yes, the BYD Atto 3 is fitted with a rear wiper blade as standard. The rear blade is 11 inches (275mm) and is available on its own or as part of a front and rear kit. Owners should replace all three blades at the same time for consistent visibility.
What wiper connector does the BYD Atto 3 use?
The BYD Atto 3 uses a push button connector on both front wiper arms. The blade clicks onto the end of the arm and is released by pressing the button, so a standard hook style blade will not fit without the correct adaptor.
Does the BYD Atto 3 use the same wiper blades as other BYD models?
No, although the Atto 3 shares its e-Platform 3.0 underpinnings with the Dolphin and Seal, its wiper sizes are its own. The 24 inch (600mm) and 17 inch (425mm) front pair and the 11 inch (275mm) rear blade should be matched to the Atto 3 specifically.
How often should I replace BYD Atto 3 wiper blades?
BYD Atto 3 wiper blades should generally be replaced every 12 months, or sooner if they streak, smear or chatter. The rear blade is often forgotten, and a worn rear rubber can leave a smeared arc across the tailgate glass after rain.
