Frequently Asked Questions
What size wiper blades does a Genesis G70 take?
The Genesis G70 (IK, 2018-2024) takes a 26 inch (650mm) blade on the driver side and an 18 inch (450mm) blade on the passenger side. These front sizes apply across every model year in the table above.
Does the Genesis G70 have a rear wiper?
The G70 sedan does not have a rear wiper blade and is fitted with two front wiper blades only, which can be confirmed in the specifications on the product page. The G70 Shooting Brake wagon is fitted with a rear wiper, and its rear blade is sold separately from the front pair.
What wiper connector does the Genesis G70 use?
The Genesis G70 uses a J-hook connector on both front wiper arms. The blade adaptor hooks into the curved end of the arm and clicks into place, which makes replacement a quick tool-free job.
Do the G70 sedan and G70 Shooting Brake take the same front wiper blades?
Yes, both body styles share the same windscreen and take a 26 inch (650mm) driver blade and an 18 inch (450mm) passenger blade with a J-hook connector. The difference is at the back, where only the Shooting Brake has a rear wiper.
How often should I replace Genesis G70 wiper blades?
Genesis G70 wiper blades should generally be replaced every 12 months, or sooner if they streak, smear or chatter. The low, steeply raked windscreen takes plenty of direct sun, so cars parked outdoors may need new blades more often.
