Frequently Asked Questions
What size wiper blades does a Genesis GV80 take?
The Genesis GV80 (JX, 2020-2026) takes a 26 inch (650mm) blade on the driver side and an 18 inch (450mm) blade on the passenger side. The rear wiper takes a 12 inch (300mm) blade.
Does the Genesis GV80 have a rear wiper?
Yes, the Genesis GV80 is fitted with a rear wiper blade as standard. The rear blade is 12 inches (300mm) and is available on its own or with the front pair, and owners should replace all three blades at the same time for consistent visibility.
What wiper connector does the Genesis GV80 use?
The Genesis GV80 uses a J-hook connector on both front wiper arms. The blade hooks onto the curved tip of the arm and clicks into place, which keeps replacement quick and tool-free.
Can the Genesis GV80 front and rear blades be bought together?
Yes, GV80 blades are available as a front and rear set, a front pair, or a rear blade on its own. Buying the full set covers the 26 inch (650mm) driver, 18 inch (450mm) passenger and 12 inch (300mm) rear blades in one order.
How often should I replace Genesis GV80 wiper blades?
Genesis GV80 wiper blades should generally be replaced every 12 months, or sooner if they smear, streak or judder. Large SUVs that tow or travel on dusty country roads collect more grit on the glass, which wears the rubber edge faster.
