Frequently Asked Questions
What size wiper blades does a Mercedes-Benz GLB-Class take?
The GLB-Class (X247, 2020-2024) takes a 24 inch (600mm) blade on the driver side and a 22 inch (550mm) blade on the passenger side. The same sizes apply to every year of the model.
Does the Mercedes-Benz GLB-Class have a rear wiper?
Yes, the Mercedes-Benz GLB-Class is fitted with a rear wiper blade as standard. The rear blade is 11 inches (275mm) and is sold separately from the front pair, and owners should replace all three blades at the same time for consistent visibility.
What wiper connector does the Mercedes-Benz GLB-Class use?
The GLB uses the connector listed as GWB045, a model specific arm fitting used on recent Mercedes-Benz models. The blade clicks onto the arm without tools.
Does the GLB-Class use the same wiper blades as the EQB?
No, the electric EQB is based on the GLB but takes a 21 inch (525mm) passenger blade and a 13 inch (325mm) rear blade. The GLB takes a 22 inch (550mm) passenger blade and an 11 inch (275mm) rear blade, so the two should be ordered separately.
How often should I replace Mercedes-Benz GLB-Class wiper blades?
Mercedes-Benz GLB-Class wiper blades should generally be replaced every 12 months, or sooner if they streak, smear or chatter. The upright windscreen catches more road grime than a sloping one, so cleaning the blade edge between replacements helps it last.
